5. Quotes and Scope of Work

All quotes and estimates:

• Are based on the information available at the time of issuance

• Are valid for 30 days unless otherwise stated

• May be subject to change due to site conditions, material costs, or scope changes

Any work requested beyond the original scope will be treated as extra work and billed accordingly.

6. Payment Terms

Unless otherwise agreed in writing:

• Payment is due within 30 or 60 days from the invoice date

• Late payments may be subject to interest charges of 2% per month

• We reserve the right to suspend services for overdue accounts

The Client agrees to pay all costs associated with collection of outstanding balances, if applicable.

7. Materials and Equipment

All materials supplied by the Company remain our property until paid in full.
Material pricing may fluctuate based on market conditions and availability.

The Company reserves the right to substitute materials of equal or greater quality where necessary.

8. Site Access and Conditions

The Client is responsible for:

• Providing safe and adequate access to the worksite

• Ensuring the work area is prepared and accessible

• Obtaining any required permits or approvals unless otherwise agreed

Delays or additional costs resulting from site conditions, restricted access, or downtime may be billed accordingly.

9. Health and Safety

Safety is a priority. Van Dam Industries Inc. reserves the right to:

• Refuse or stop work in unsafe conditions

• Require proper site safety measures before proceeding

All work is performed in accordance with applicable occupational health and safety regulations.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Van Dam Industries Inc. shall not be liable for:

• Pre-existing defects or structural failures

• Hidden or unforeseen site conditions

• Loss of production, downtime, or indirect damages

Our total liability is limited to the value of the services provided under the applicable agreement.

11. Warranty

We provide a limited workmanship warranty of 30 days from the date of completion unless otherwise stated in writing.

This warranty does not cover:

• Normal wear and tear

• Misuse, neglect, or improper maintenance

• Repairs involving previously damaged or compromised materials

12. Delays and Force Majeure

We are not responsible for delays caused by events beyond our control, including but not limited to:

• Weather conditions

• Material shortages

• Equipment breakdowns

• Labor disruptions

Project timelines may be adjusted accordingly.

13. Cancellations and Rescheduling

Cancellations must be made in writing.
We reserve the right to charge for:

• Work completed to date

• Materials purchased or ordered

• Mobilization and scheduling costs
